Millie Bartlet – collage work

Millie Bartlet is an Australian artist who works mainly with collage, however she started off her artist career doing a lot of paintings and working with charcoals . In her collage work she is heavily influenced by 50s era and edits them in a magazine style which was sort of the look i was going for but more contemporary. Bartlet inspired me with her use of bold colours , angular shapes and her use of text in her work i also really appreciated how she layered images on top of one another. My publication pages shared similarities but my pieces were more linked to the theme of my work
